Conor McGregor explored in depth what happened against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The Notorious has published a long post on social networks, describing the fight in turn, reports The Mirror.
McGregor faced the Russian in the fourth round of his first UFC fight in almost two years.
The Irishman, who has expressed his desire for revenge on publications on social networks since the event, broke the silence on the fight itself by posting a long publication on social networks in the early hours.
The fight was followed by a massive brawl that resulted in temporary suspensions from the Nevada Sports Commission.
The Irishman did not mention the post-fight scrum, but interrupted the fight on a turn-based basis.
In the message, McGregor writes: "Although I won the first trades in 4, he dipped again and I found myself in a bad position with more than 3 points on the clock, working to get back to my position and straighten, with my back to the fence, a stable position.
"Here, however, I made a critical mistake in abandoning my mat at this crucial moment, exposing my back, and found myself defeated.
"What can I say? It was a great fight and it was a pleasure.
"I will be back with great confidence, fully prepared.
"If it's not the rematch right away, no problem, I'll face the next one."
The 30-year-old admitted that he had underestimated parts of Nurmagomedov's fighting style and that it would not happen again.
McGregor said, "Round 2, he fled around the cage before being blessed with a right hand that changed the course of the round and the fight.
"I did not give his right man any fighting in preparation, no specific spies.
"Attack only wrestlers / wrestlers, this will not happen again."
McGregor went on to say that the second round was "the worst round of my fighting career," but felt he was back in force by winning the third round.
