A man from central Florida is accused of having offered $ 200,000 to a woman to buy her 8-year-old daughter.

The case against Hellmuth Kolb, aged 81, began after a woman informed the police of the meeting that would have occurred in front of a Walmart Port Orange Friday.

As the investigation unfolded, the woman, Tracy Nigh, warned others of the incident in a Facebook posting.

"Shook has been shaken and electrocuted to the heart," wrote Nigh. "A man from Orange Walmart Port offered me 200K today for my child. Seized her by the arm and kissed her wrist. My little girl of 8 years old !!!! "

According to WKMG-Ch. In Central Florida 6, Volusia County MPs found Kolb through a credit card transaction and another woman who described a similar incident.

Kolb was arrested on Saturday and charged with battery and illegal imprisonment of a child, according to court records.

Nigh told WKMG that Kolb started by engaging in a polite conversation, then asked if she would take money for her daughter.

"The first amount was $ 100,000, the second was $ 150,000, and the last was $ 200,000," she told the channel.
