A fire swept an Ohio home Wednesday night, killing a two-year-old child and wounding 10 members of an Amish family, officials said.

The two-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at a Middlefield Township hospital, reported Fox 8 Cleveland.

The victims are an Amish family living in a single-family home, according to Cleveland's WKYC-TV.

A father and his 13-year-old son were admitted to a hospital for the treatment of burns and smoke inhalation.

The hospital said two more children aged 10 and 12 had been rushed to the MetroHealth Medical Center with severe burns, the report said. The youngest victim was one year old and the oldest was in their 40s, Fox 8 officials said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, reported the station.
