A 63-year-old Lafayette woman who was reported missing on Friday at Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Park was found safe, according to the National Parks Service.
Diane Salmon, who was last seen on the Bishop Pass Trail Friday morning north of the first Dusy Basin Lake, was seen by other hikers as she headed for the Lake Trail. South in the Inyo National Forest. She went out with them and was reunited with her family on Sunday.
Salmon was walking the trails with two family members and was planning to cross Bishop Pass to go out to South Lake in the Inyo National Forest on Friday night, Park Service announced.
