An 18-year-old Oklahoma man was shot dead by his mother on Thursday and two teenage girls, also believed to be his children, were also shot dead, officials said.

The deputies were summoned to the Nuyaka area home around 6:30 am (7:30 am Eastern Daylight Time) to take notice of a shooting incident. Upon their arrival, the authorities found the 18-year-old corpse and two other teenagers shot and wounded, Sheriff Eddy Rice said at a press conference.

Rice said Ms. Hall was the mother of the 18-year-old man, who was not named, and that she is also the mother of the two teenage girls.

The two girls were taken to the hospital. One is in critical condition and the other is stable, the authorities said.

Rice told the media that he thought the 911 call had been initiated by a guest from the house and that the children's father was not there when the shootout occurred. .

MPs on Thursday arrested Amy Leann Hall, 38, and charged her with first degree murder and two counts of murder with intent to kill.

"We have no motive at the moment, we are still investigating this," he said.
