A Florida man was charged after being caught raping a teenager on a PlayStation stream, US media reports.

According to reports, Daniel Enrique Fabian, 18, played Grand Theft Auto earlier this year when he allegedly attacked a 15-year-old girl during a break.

Another player told the police that Mr. Fabian had left a microphone and heard a woman in distress say no.

The alleged victim told the police that she had been detained and raped by Mr. Fabian.

A police affidavit claims that a medical examination corroborated the allegation of the teenager, according to a local media report.

The assault would have occurred in June at Mr. Fabian's home in New Port Richey, in western Florida.

According to some sources, he made an obscene comment about having slept with a girl he had come to before returning to the game about 15 minutes later.

It is not clear if the other player was the person who reported the alleged assault, WFLA local network report.

The 18-year-old was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two obscene and lascivious charges on a 12- to 15-year-old victim.

Local media say he is being held with a bail of $ 30,000 (£ 23,000) in a local detention center.
