A simple favor: let's talk about this end, shall we?

How do we best describe A simple favor, the new thriller really crazy about Paul Feig Featured Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick? At first glance at the trailer, there seemed to be another polite response to Hollywood. Missing girl, David Fincher elegant blockbuster adaptation of Gillian Flynn novel about a housewife who escapes her old life and goes to a naughty tear. A simple favor has similar themes it revolves around Stephanie, a devoted vlogger of mom (Kendrick) and her best friend Emily (Lively), a mysterious and serene P.R. holy exec who disappears someday. For the first part of the film, it's just that: an open-faced drama about a missing woman, dotted with black humor. But the second half takes that Missing girl splash and mix with the satire of the real crime of Mom series, John Waters 1994 brilliant on a perfect housewife with a taste for murder. That is to say that it loses its spirit and takes the audience on a crazy and flashy journey, amplifying each twist of the plot with a twist of the larger and wilder plot. Let's break it, are we going?

SPOILERS ALL ROADS

To begin, the node of A simple favor relies on a proven tradition of conspiracy and torsion: secret twin. Once Emily is gone, Stephanie begins digging and, after a long journey, discovers that Emily is lying about her identity. Her real name is Faith and she has an identical twin named Hope. The girls grew up in a strict family with a manic father, and one day they broke and set fire to a wing of their giant house, killing him. The story is taken up in local news, with people wondering what happened to the girls. Worried about being arrested – and aware that a pair of towering blond twins are highly visible – teens separate, agreeing to meet again on an agreed date. But when it comes time to meet, Hope does not show up. So, Faith travels alone, turning into Emily (after a complete trip with Linda Cardellini artist character) and become a high-powered advertising representative in Manhattan.

So why, after getting a dream job, a dream house, a dream husband (Sean, played by a pristine prince Henry Goldingand exactly one adorable child, did she blow up her life and escape everything? Money! The answer is always money. As Emily explains earlier in the film, she and Sean are a bit broke. In addition, they had trouble selling their home, an article that would have given them money quickly. Now that's where the twists get a little hairy because even though Emily says they're broken, they still seem to live well. Sean works at a nearby university. She still has her management job. In any case, they should have found a way to leave home and get money. Alas, the sensitive and illegal light (O.K., illegal and heavy) is not part of cinematographic intrigue, darling!

Emily convinces Sean to take out a $ 4 million life insurance policy and then disappears. When her sister, Hope, shows up again – now a rowdy and lazy druggist – and tries to blackmail her out to Michigan and claim a million dollars, Emily has her aha moment: she drowns Hope in the lake and, thanks to the same identical twin thing, the police finds the body and assumes that it is it. Four million dollars on the way, easy.

Oh, you are a good girl. Of course, it is not so simple (favor). Despite their better judgment, Stephanie and Sean start to hook up, making Emily furious looking (somehow) away. Stephanie then investigates Emily's disappearance and discovers everything, then drops incredibly daring underdosts on her mom vlog (which Emily looks furiously). Both have a martini-tingled tête-à-tête in Emily's grave (or should we say "Emily's"), accepting a new plan: now, Emily will come back to town and say to the police that his twin is dead (but, you know, not by the murder). Then she will say that she escaped because Sean was in fact a violent partner.

So, why would Stephanie bother to follow this plan even though she is now in love with Sean and Emily is a terrible friend? This is because she is do not go with it. Welcome to plot # 2: a false agreement with the wicked person's plan so that you can get a secretly recorded confession of all the bad deeds they have done! It is carefully set up. Emily and Sean meet face-to-face in their beautiful, unsaleable house, where he asks all kinds of why-who-is-and-could-do, hoping to mess up a clean, audible confession for police listening nearby. Then Stephanie arrives brandishing a firearm and giving Emily her best crazy eyes, trying not so much to tease, but to straighten out a confession. She even pulls Sean in the chest and that looks very convincing, with fake blood that quickly accumulates on his chest. And they get the confession! Victory!

I'm kidding, when are you going to learn? Emily, evil brain, saw that happen a mile and she cut their mics! Plus, the SWAT team that Stephanie secretly asked to show up at home? Yeah, Emily called them and, putting her best voice to Stephanie, convinced them that the appointment had been changed. Then she takes out a surprise pistol and shoots Sean in the chest. So, the moral of the story is that one must never come across Blake Lively. . .

But the secret torsion Moral, you must never cross a vlogger mom! After Emily has filmed Sean, Stephanie reveals that she broadcasted the entire exchange live via a tiny camera on her chest that looks like a button. And the SWAT team (who came to the other place despite the fact that everything is broadcast live?) Finally arrives. And then, Young Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, and Stellan Skarsgård introduce yourself and start singing ABBA. Unbelievable!

Well, it does not really happen. But he is in the realm of possibility in A simple favor, which contains all areas and all possibilities. Stephanie saw her viral dreams of mom-vlog, Sean moving across the country and Emily finding her place. . . in prison.
