The production of a new show about famed children's television character Mister Rogers, starring Tom Hanks, came to a shocking halt on Thursday night when a member of the team fell from the second floor of a building located at Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
The Lebanese police told ET that, during a break between two scenes of filming, a 65-year-old sound mixer whose name has not yet been unveiled, went to smoke a cigarette on the balcony. Not long after, people heard a loud noise and it seems that he fell to the ground.
The man was transported to UPMC Hospital Mercy Hospital, which would be in serious condition. Police said the crew member was in critical condition.
