A student of UB in critical condition after a hit-and-run on the North Campus

AMHERST, NY (WIVB) – The University of Buffalo Police is investigating a traffic accident involving a pedestrian, according to a press release.

The hit & run arrived just before 10 pm on Thursday, November 1, on Hadley Road, opposite the Hadley Village apartments, on UB's north campus.

The victim is a 20-year-old Singapore undergraduate student, according to the press release issued by UB police.

She was taken to the ECMC and is in critical condition.

The university said to be in close contact with family and friends. This includes arranging for the family's stay in Buffalo.

According to the press release, "the entire UB community is hoping to recover fully from their wounds".

The suspect's vehicle is a dark-colored four-door Honda Accord, from 2003 to 2008, UB police said.

According to the press release, the bonnet, bumper, mudguard and right front headlight could be damaged.
