A suspect with an assault weapon killed by police near the Miami Airport

A hate crime suspect who opened fire on authorities with an assault weapon Thursday night was shot dead near the Miami International Airport, officials said.

The Miami Police Service alerted the public about the shots shortly after 18 hours. when that tweeted that the shooting "came from an ongoing investigation by the FBI" in which the local police "served as assistance".
