A Texan mother sued after his BMW took him on a ride in his teenage son.
Aaron Martinez, 14, was nicknamed "El Paso Ferris Bueller" after devising a plan to sneak out of his Texas home by disabling Wi-Fi.
"At this point, my cameras and the security of my house are blocked, I do not see when the doors will be opened or closed," said his mother, Lisa, Inside Edition.
Lisa was at work, unaware that Aaron had gone in the car to pick up his friend.
This friend's mother discovered and contacted Lisa.
"I immediately called my daughter and told her," Go outside and see if my car is here, "and she said," It's not there, "Lisa recalls.
Lisa spun at home and picked up her daughter, Liza, who recorded all the ordeal and posted her on social media.
They quickly found her at a nearby intersection and Lisa shouted for her son to stop.
Once he stopped, Lisa jumped to give him a lesson, disciplining him on the side of the road with a belt.
"It's my son's well-being, his livelihood, the well-being of his best friend, not to mention every other person on the road," Lisa said.
As a result, his son can think twice before embarking again in a cascade of this type.
"I deserved it," he told Inside Edition. "I made a bad choice and I will not do it again."
It was not the first time that Aaron was taking the car from one of his parents, so he found himself on the ground until further notice. His mother also removed her door from her hinges and confiscated her electronics.
