STAFFORD, Virginia. – A transgender girl was allegedly banned from using the cloakroom of boys and girls during a lockdown exercise at a middle school in Virginia.

During a security drill in her Stafford County College, the LGBTQ rights group, Equality Stafford, said she had been forced to sit alone on the stands and then in the room while all the other students in his PE class went to Stafford County Center. the school is a refugee in the locker room.

The professors were apparently debating the record that would suit him.

"During an event preparing children to survive an assailants attack, she was treated as if she posed a danger to her peers to the point of leaving her exposed and vulnerable," said the post .

Equality Stafford concluded the message by calling on relatives, friends and neighbors to protest at Tuesday's school board meeting.

School spokeswoman Sherrie Johnson said in a statement that the school district did not comment on individual student cases in order to avoid disclosing confidential information.

"However, the new director has called for a review of all protocols and procedures to ensure that all children are treated with dignity and respect," the statement said. "We take these issues very seriously and the problems will be solved. The well-being of all students is of utmost importance to SCPS."

When asked if the girl should have been allowed to enter the girls locker room because she identifies herself as a girl, Johnson will only reiterate that all the policies, practices and procedures of security are being revised.
