A Utah policeman died Sunday after investigators said that a driver intentionally hit him with his car while the police officer responded to a burglary call.
South Salt Lake police officer David Romrell, 31, was rushed to a hospital in critical condition on Saturday night, Chief Jack Carruth told reporters at the press. 39, a press conference Sunday. Romrell died later of his injuries.
