A woman tragically died on the 27th floor of a high-rise building after losing balance by taking a selfie, according to reports.

The 27-year-old, named Sandra Manuela Da Costa Macedo, stepped over a balustrade of the balcony against which she was leaning as she took the picture.

The disgusting video always showed her holding the selfie stick as she threw herself off the balcony.

We hear a spectator filming the tragedy shouting: "She is crazy, here she is looking at her, looking at her, she has fallen."



The woman seemed to be trying to take a selfie after her fall.



You could hear horrified spectators screaming as she fell.

Paramedics rushed to the scene, a building called the Luxor Tower in Panama City after the alarm was triggered just after 10 am on October 13.

The woman was already dead when they arrived.

According to local sources, the incident was still under investigation, but police focused on the theory that a gust of wind could have unbalanced it.

Panama's fire department has issued a warning on its official Twitter account after the tragedy: "Do not risk your life for a selfie.

It is more important to lose a minute of your life than your life in one minute. "



The woman was already dead when paramedics arrived.
