A Kentucky jailer would have made a bizarre discovery on Saturday when she discovered that a stranger had burst into her home and cleaned her thoroughly before taking a shower and napping in her bed.

Heather Owens, 38, was arrested on Saturday for burglary and drug possession after leaving a home owned by Lincoln County Deputy Jailor Erica Sampson, the WKYT reported.

Sampson told the police that she had gone home and found her perfectly clean, with the exception of some dirty dishes. Sampson told LEX18 that she was returning home after spending the night in the night when she met Owens.

"When I got home, the house was clean and the dogs were not barking, so I went in and listened and got out of the kitchen," Sampson told the TV channel. "I'm pretty sure she took a shower and slept in my bed. My jewelry box was gone [sic] through, but other than that, it's just strange. "

Owens allegedly grabbed a knife and walked out of the house after a brief confrontation with Sampson. Owens told the police that she thought she was at home, reported WKYT.

The police caught Owens later and found two syringes and a marijuana pipe in his backpack.

Sampson said that someone had been introduced to her four times.

"I just want to go home, make sure all my locks are in place and that everything is safe and ready for use," she said.
