According to reports, about five people, including perhaps three infants, were injured during a stabbing attack at a daycare center in Queens, New York early Friday morning.
A woman is being held as a result of the attack, which occurred in a house on 161st Street in Flushing, reported NBC New York.
The New York Police Department said the victims, whose exact age has not been confirmed, were either cut off or cut off during the morning attack.
According to WPIX 11, the police stated that the suspect had attacked two girls and a boy, as well as a daycare worker and a father of one of the children.
None of the victims would be in danger of death. The 52-year-old suspect was found with self-inflicted wounds on his wrist before being placed in custody at a nearby hospital.
"I got up, I went and I got dressed, and I went out to see what house it was, because I'm obviously concerned, it's my neighborhood," said a resident of CBS in New York.
