A woman approached the New Jersey police on Tuesday without remembering who she was and the authorities are seeking the help of the public to help her find out.
Police Norwood, located about 50 km northeast of Morristown, met the woman, who said that she had a car accident in the state of Washington a year ago and that she was heading east ever since.
According to state police, the woman was unable to identify but said she was a veteran who may have served in Bosnia.
The officials have published a picture of the woman in order to find out who she is. She is described as a white woman aged 40 to 50, with blond hair and blue eyes. The woman is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about this woman to contact the Norwood Police Department at 201-768-0850.
