News 12 New Jersey reports that Linda Daniels, 68, died Thursday in Newark, New Jersey.

Daniels was in palliative care since April with congestive heart failure. Her family said she was relying on an oxygen tank that was powered by electricity to breathe.

The Public Service Enterprise Electricity Company (PSEG) confirmed to News 12 that she had cut off power after the company had tried to join the family several times.

The family says that Daniels tried to use his backup oxygen tank when the power was turned off but he quickly ran out.

An ambulance was called but Daniels died an hour after departure from the ambulance. We do not know why they left.

Daniel's family says that they knew she had an outstanding balance, but claimed that they were working to pay him back.

The family showed News 12 the bank records that confirmed that they paid $ 500 on Tuesday, two days before the power outage.
