Aaron Rodgers recalls NFC North leading division | Bleacher's report

To paraphrase the 1994 classic Airheads"Who would win in a wrestling match, Aaron Rodgers or God?"

"Trick question, Aaron Rodgers East God."

The performance at a Rodgers game Sunday against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field strengthened his god status. His mere presence gives the Green Bay Packers a chance to win every time he is on the field, and the team's last victory in the team proves it even more.

Green Bay was trailing the Bears 20-3 in the fourth quarter before getting a 24-23 win behind the driving force behind Rodgers' miraculous arm talent.

Rodgers had 286 yards and three touchdowns in what has become a stellar performance. Not only did the quarter tie his personal best for the biggest return of his career (20 points), according to ESPN Stats & Info, but he also beat the Packers franchise mark with a 17-point return in the fourth quarter, by Football perspective.

The packers' future looked bleak after Roy Robertson-Harris, a 294-pounder, crashed on his left leg with 9:19 back in the second quarter. Rodgers moved away from the field before demanding that the cart be transported to the locker room.

The 34-year-old expression seemed to indicate something serious as he was heading towards the inner sanctum of the stadium.

"We felt something in it, we had trouble putting on weight," said the quarterback during an interview on NBC (via CBS Sports). Will Brinson). "Doc and I had a conversation there, we did the tests and told them I was coming back."

Rodgers' injury brought out everything not only for the Packers, but for all of NFC North.

As a team, Green Bay is not without its leader. Although this is already obvious, it became obvious as DeShone Kizer had to finish the first half of the game and melt under pressure from Chicago.

Halfway through the game, a new Midway monster appeared. He does not play the linebacker like Dick Butkus, Mike Singletary and Brian Urlacher. An external linebacker is now at the center of the Bears defense.

Khalil Mack's monstrous debut as a member of the Chicago Bears left the kind of first impression that led a fanbase to desperately fall in love, but his hopes were disappointed when he could not deliver late in the competition.

Mack became the first player since 1982 (when the bags were recorded for the first time) to record a bag, a forced fumble, an interception and a touchdown in one NBC television broadcasting. Everything came at Kizer's expense.

What looked like a dominant performance became a footnote. The loyal Bears may be excited about the defensive potential of the team, but Vic Fangio's unit could not slow down the game's most natural passer-by when he came back as a knight in shining armor for the second half.

Rodgers completed 17 of 22 passes in the next four races, which resulted in 24 points.

Some of the Rodgers throws were just ridiculous. The quarterback was unable to plant his left leg, but still escaped multiple throws, including a spectacular 39-yard touchdown to Geronimo Allison by the opposite hash. Perfect passes are indefensible.

Even when the Bears attempted to conceal pressurized packaging, they did not affect Rodgers. according to ESPNChicago hit the caller twice before the last game of the match (a decisive blow to get out of the clock), and he burned the Bears for 126 yards and a touchdown in those instances.

The fear of going forward is whether Rodgers will have enough mobility to generate game plays outside the offensive structure. The 14-year-old's greatest asset is his ability to create while deploying.

Head coach and playmaker Mike McCarthy may need to take a different approach as the field aspects of Rodgers' game are likely to be hindered in the coming weeks. The MVP twice should always be able to work in the pocket, even if all of his skills could be limited.

A quick glimpse into the future shows a tough next clash against the Minnesota Vikings next Sunday. The Vikings' defense is as stingy as in the league, but Rodgers does not intend to rest and recover.

"I play next week," he has already confirmed on NBC television (via the St. Paul Pioneer Press& # 39; Chris Tomasson).

Until now, the NFL's highest paid player (on an annual basis) has defeated the league's highest paid defenseman, despite Mack's best efforts. The Bears may be a better team than the 5-11 team of last year, but the team still ranks third or fourth in the hierarchy of divisions.

The Detroit Lions have no way of countering Rodgers, either, since Matt Patricia's defense and defensive front are suspect. In addition, Packers strikers David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga are probably the best duo.

It's easy to rally Rodgers. The talent around him is exceptional, especially the offensive linemen mentioned above, Receiver General Davante Adams and the tight finals. Jimmy Graham. But that's the belief in their quarter that lifts their game.

"It was sick," said guard Lane Taylor, questioned about Rodgers' return performance, according to ESPN.com Rob Demovsky.

Hope is eternal with Rodgers, which should create great discomfort among the rest of the NFC North. In a league led by quarters, he is the best of the best, even if he is embarrassed.
