After the 2017 National Championship, Alabama has not failed to beat. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa – who saved the day in the second half and extended the game against Georgia – leads the standings (230.47) and yards per attempt (12.9). Looks like the heisman trophy contender, he was supposed to enter the season.

What about the defense? It's the same for the course. Crimson Tide are fourth nationally in defense (12.8), eighth in defense (24.59%) and fifth in red defense (60%).

So we asked the MGM Resorts Sportsbook how much a favorite Alabama would be above the best teams in the country. The lines may surprise you.

These lines are simply breathtaking. Alabama would be at least a two-digit favorite on every team in the country.

A representative of MGM told CBS Sports that these lines would drop by three points if Alabama played those teams down the road. So even in a hostile environment, the crew of coach Nick Saban would be at least a favorite of the touchdown.

Alabama plays two of the teams on the list above – LSU on November 3rd and Auburn on November 24th. He could also face Georgia in the SEC Championship match on December 1 if both teams win their divisions.

Alabama plays Louisiana-Lafayette Saturday in Tuscaloosa and is a favorite of seven touchdowns.
