Actor Katt Williams Arrested in Portland and Charged with Assault

PORTLAND, Oregon (KATU) – Comedian Katt Williams was arrested in Portland on Saturday morning on charges of assault.

Micah Sierra "Katt" Williams is incarcerated at Multnomah County Prison on a charge of fourth degree aggression and a warrant in Georgia. His bond is set at $ 2,500.

The Port of Portland Police is busy with the investigation.

According to Portland Port Police, the assault occurred around 11:13 pm. Friday at Atlantic Aviation at 8089 NE Airport Way in Portland.

Police say Williams is accused of assaulting the driver of a city car after arguing about the transport of Williams and his dog to a show in downtown Moda.

The driver was slightly injured in the face and was treated at a local hospital.

Police said Williams had left the scene of the assault in another vehicle before police arrived.

Williams was a frequent cast member of the Wild N Out show, which had a tour stop at Portland's Moda Center that night. He appeared at other stops of the tour, and rumors on social media indicate that he was supposed to appear on the show.

Portland police also arrested a man accused of murder as a result of a shootout near the center of Moda, which left one person dead and two others in the hospital.
