More than a dozen angry people heckled and / or pulled out of Wanda Sykes' comedy after his numerous anti-Trump jokes failed with the public. Sykes played on September 27 at the Count Basie Arts Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Fans complained that Sykes' comedy routine was not funny and too political for their tastes. Some members of the public have stated that they are not even supporters of Trump; they are just tired of hearing the same old jokes.
"I paid for a comedy show, not for a political hall," said Christine Delancey on the radio. Asbury Park Press. "First of all, you do not blame our president. I am not a supporter of Trump, but he is my president and I would never hit my president.
"Make comedy!"
Witnesses said that audience members began heckling Sykes after launching his comedy routine with a series of jokes about President Donald Trump.
"Make comedy!" Shouted a participant from his seat. Another would have shouted, "Too political!"
Others said the public should have known that Wanda Sykes blew up Trump, as she was a frank liberal who constantly criticized the president on social media and in interviews.
"You knew what you were going to get," said Gabby Young. "You should have known that it would not be pro-Trump."
Wanda Sykes' anti-Trump comedy routine comes just a week after director Michael Moore's anti-Trump documentary. Fahrenheit 11/9 bombed at the office during his opening weekend.
Despite a lot of hype, Fahrenheit 11/9 generated only $ 3.9 million since it opened on September 21, according to Mojo Box Office.
The anti-trompe documentary by Michael Moore

His anti-Trump documentary 2016, Michael Moore in TrumpLand, has generated only $ 149,090 so far, Mojo Box Office reported.
Some speculate that the public is tired of Trump-bashing saturation nonstop across the news of cable, TV shows and social media.
