NEW YORK – Angels are back in town for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The annual show landed in New York after two years abroad, with international shows in Paris (2016) and Shanghai (2017).

The night marked the end of an era for Victoria's secret angel: Adriana Lima. The supermodel suspended her wings with emotional tribute, withdrawing from the fashion show that made her known.

"The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show's Special Holiday" will air on Sunday, December 2 on ABC (10am Paris time), but we have a spot for the show on Thursday at Pier 94. Here are the five highlights. most striking of the 2018 event:

Adriana Lima torn during a tribute

The series paid special tribute to Lima, with a video montage of clips of her iconic past moments from Victoria's Secret. The video ended with a message of thanks in Lima before the bridge darkened and the model itself came out.

Top models continue their reign

Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Lima, Elsa Hosk, Candice Swanepoel, Jasmine Tookes and Behati Prinsloo have returned to the Victoria's Secret track, continuing to flex their status as top models.

Hosk was invited to wear the highly sought after fantasy bra, diamond encrusted, worth $ 1 million. Jenner and Gigi jumped into the Shanghai show, but they dragged themselves in their angels' wings and their long trains as they had never missed a beat.

Shawn Mendes and Co. dazzled
