It is difficult to use a demanding strategy for a regular season of 162 games, given the additional strain and risk of injury that this represents for relief throwers, who are throwing harder than ever before. This would require a good farming system and the willingness to stir new weapons with the main team.
Even during the shorter playoff period, there can still be a lot to manage. Although it worked in the first round, Brewers officials recognized the additional challenge of a longer, better seven-year series. There are more days off than during the regular season, but the series consists of three games over three consecutive days and the circumstances are much more intense.
So, even if the Brewers come back to beat the Dodgers, can they continue this juggling game in another seven-game series without failing?
At the 2016 Cleveland Indians World Series race, the pitcher's efforts, especially the very stressful innings, may have tired starter starter Andrew Miller. Director Terry Francona often turned to Miller because he was a dominant force and the starting rotation had been injured by injuries. The only Indian pitcher to pitch more runs than Miller (19⅓) in the playoffs was starting pitcher Corey Kluber (34⅓).

Even then, the Brewers only had 3-1 to shoot. Their attack hardly supported this series with their unconventional and yet strong pitching staff.
