Even though The brewers lost Saturday and will not head to the World Series. The sold-out issue of Ed Sheeran scheduled for Tuesday's Miller Park will still be postponed.

But do not worry, Sheeran fans: This will only be postponed to Wednesday, confirmed the team Sunday morning. .

"The Brewers and Messina Touring groups made this change to make it easier to load and set up tours after the NLCS seventh game," says a message on the concert page on the Brewers website. "All tickets issued for the original date of October 23 will be recognized for admission to the show on October 24."

Sheeran manager Stuart Camp said on Twitter Saturday night that the tour's production crew had postponed its installation until the National League championship series was over.

The series ended Saturday in the seventh game. The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Brewers 5-1 at Miller Park.

"We should have started building our scene at midnight last night at the latest for it to work," Camp said on Twitter on Saturday.

With the Brewers forcing a match 7 with a win against the Dodgers on Friday, that was not possible.

All tickets and parking cards purchased for the date of origin will be honored and fans will sit in the same place as the one assigned to them.

Refunds are also available for people who can not take the new date by calling (800) 745-3000 or by clicking the Refund link on your Ticketmaster order in the My Account settings. This refund link is only available on the Ticketmaster website, not on the Ticketmaster app.

For the transferred tickets, the refund will go to the fan who originally purchased them, but the tickets must be re-transferred to the person who first purchased the tickets on the Ticketmaster website.

All refunds will be refunded within seven to ten business days.

The good news for some fans: the refunded tickets will be resold on the Ticketmaster site, so if you missed your ticket, keep looking for new places available online.

But here's bad news: Lauv programmers and Snow Patrol will no longer open the show. A new opening act or two will be announced.

There was some anticipation that something like this would happen as the Brewers progressed more and more in the playoffs.

Earlier this month, Tyler Barnes, Vice President of Communications for the Brewers, told The Milwaukee Sentinel Journal: "If the team advances far enough in the playoffs, we will announce a new November date for the Sheeran concert. "

The first game of the World Series will take place Tuesday, but it was not going to happen in Milwaukee, whether they have progressed or not, according to the rules of Major League Baseball.

Nevertheless, it seemed unlikely that the Brewers would run the risk of damaging the field before what could have been its first world series since 1982, in addition to creating a situation in which Milwaukee Sheeran fans could potentially sell their concert tickets or skip the show to see the show. the game.
