Former America has talent Star Michael Ketterer was arrested Thursday (September 20th) after an alleged spousal violence incident with his wife, according to several sources. Michael, who was a finalist during AGT Season 13, said that all the incident between him and his wife was a misunderstanding.

Michael, 41, and his wife allegedly fought in their hotel room in Hollywood, and when the police arrived they claimed that Michael's wife had a visible red mark, according to People. Due to the alleged injury, Michael was arrested and detained on charges of domestic violence. He was later released after paying a $ 50,000 bail.

But Michael says that the whole incident was only a "misunderstanding". He admitted that he and his wife had been involved in an argument and in their hotel room. When the cops arrived, his wife reportedly said that she did not want to make a complaint and that the cops had told her that they had to take her away anyway. His charges will later be reduced to one offense because the alleged harm was minor.

Michael quickly became a AGT finalist at the audition rounds after touching the hearts of the judges with his heartfelt story about raising six adopted children and the importance of his big family for him. Michael so impressed Judge Simon Cowell that he won his golden buzzer and went straight to the concerts.

Fans have flooded Michael's recent photo on Instagram – a beautiful family photo – and many of them were shocked that someone posing as a family man on television might have been involved in such an incident.
