An air hostess was seriously injured when she fell off a plane before leaving today at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai.
"The woman member of the crew was closing the door to push her back when she fell off the plane," said a source at the Press Trust of India, identifying the plane as being the AI 864, a Delhi-Mumbai flight.
Flight attendant Harsha Lobo, 53, was taken to Nanavati Hospital.
"During an unfortunate incident, one of our cabin crew members (members), Harsha Lobo, fell on the tarmac from the Boeing-777 aircraft's doorway." closing it, "said the airline in a statement. "She was injured in her legs and was taken to Nanavati Hospital for further treatment."
Air India said that she was investigating this incident.
