Airline employee falls asleep in plane hold and goes to Chicago

A 23-year-old baggage handler was suspended from his job after falling asleep in the cargo hold of an airplane, according to a report in NDTV.

The man confessed that he had consumed alcohol before falling asleep.

USA Today, quoted in NDTV, also reported that the man had napped inside the aircraft while he was at work at the airport ramp located in Kansas City.

The plane took a flight to Chicago with him asleep in the cargo hold of the plane. It was discovered after two hours when the plane landed at the O. Hare International Airport in Chicago.

The 23-year-old was later interrogated by the US Attorney's Office, the FBI and the Chicago Police Department. He reportedly informed the police officers of the state of drunkenness in which he had fallen asleep in the hold of the plane and had later landed in another city.
