Alabama win gives Bulldogs another chance to get behind the wheel of the SEC

Alabama beat LSU 29-0 on Saturday night. The losing Tigers defeated Georgia 36-16 on 13 October.

The Bulldogs may not have a hard time playing Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game at the Mercedes-Benz stadium on December 1 st.

Georgia is happy for another shot against Alabama after losing 26-23 in overtime during the College Football Playoff National Championship game last season.

The Crimson Tide also beat the Bulldogs 32-28 in the 2012 SEC Championship game at the Georgia Dome.

Georgia will play three more games this season, hosting Auburn, Massachusetts and Georgia Tech, before facing Alabama again.

The Bulldogs won the Eastern title by beating Kentucky 34-17 on Saturday and Crimson Tide won SEC West by defeating LSU in Baton Rouge, Mass.

Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdown passes and ran 44 yards for a goal, with Alabama remaining undefeated.

Tagovailoa took the field with a right knee brace, launched his first interception of the season at the end of the first half and also played in the fourth quarter for the first time this season. None of these developments had any consequence. He had 25 passes out of 42 for 295 yards and moved as well as expected, especially when he sprinted in midfield or during his long TD pass in the third quarter to give Alabama (9-0, 6 -0 SEC ) an advance of 22-0.

Henry Ruggs III caught four passes for 55 yards and scored the first touchdown of the match, but was injured in the left leg late in the second quarter.
