Round nine: Red Sox 7, Astros 5

topCraig Kimbrel replaced Porcello on the mound. Striking for Martin Maldonado, Evan Gattis went on to second base. Josh Reddick then swayed. George Springer doubled to base and Jose Altuve led on a single RBI to narrow the two-point gap. Bregman could not continue his momentum, flying deep in the inning.

Round 8: Red Sox 7, Astros 4

Low: Rafael Devers has chosen to join the base for the third time tonight. Ian Kinsler and Jackie Bradley Jr. are both noted. Brushstroke for Christian Vazquez, Mitch Moreland's is demarcated in right field.

Right-handed Hector Rondon replaced James on the mound.

Mookie Betts doubled a line towards the center, leading to Devers and giving Boston a 7-4 lead. Rondon was then removed and Sipp, the only southpaw in the Houston office, came in. Benintendi flew to end the inning.

top: Right-handed Rick Porcello entered the match for Brasier. Porcello withdrew the side in order. His number of steps: 18.

Seventh inning: Red Sox 6, Astros 4

Low: Righthander Lance McCullers Jr. replaced Cole on the mound. Cole pitched six innings, gave six hits, took five and made two. He finished with 90 shots (56 shots). Right-hander Josh James and southpaw Tony Sipp also started heating in the paddock.

Mookie Betts walked to start the inning and ranked second on a wild pitch that hit Andrew Benintendi. During J.D. Martinez's attack, Betts progressed again after McCullers' throw passed Maldonado. Martinez counted 3-2 but swayed.

During Xander Bogaerts' bat phase, another pitch overtook Maldonado and allowed Betts to score, extending Boston's lead to 6-4. James replaced McCullers on the mound. James stepped on Bogaerts on four courts before Steve Pearce took the land.

While attempting to play Pearce's ball, left-field player Astros Marwin Gonzalez crashed against the wall and needed medical attention. He stayed in the game.

Jackie Bradley Jr. then scored a brace at the corner of the left field, leading to Bogaerts, Pearce and Devers to bring Boston back to fifth. Christian Vazquez retired while trying to end the inning. Number of steps of Cole: 64.

After Josh Reddick appeared, George Springer beat Steve Pearce in the first straight. Correa and Maldonado scored to tie both. Jose Altuve swayed to end the inning. First round: Red Sox 2, Astros 0

LowMookie Betts, the leading striker, was second on a brace from the center field wall. Andrew Benintendi drove in the Betts on a single ripped out right field, giving the Red Sox a quick 1-0 lead. After J.D. Martinez left, Xander Bogaerts pushed the shooter down, but Cole's shot was carried by the header of the first baseman, Yuli Gurriel. Benintendi is ranked third and Bogaerts took second place.

Cole then walked Steve Pearce on four courses.

With the bases loaded, Rafael Devers punched a ball on the ground in the left field to get a base shot. Benintendi scored to extend Boston's lead to 2-0. Right-hander Collin McHugh began to warm up in the Houston office. Ian Kinsler hit and Jackie Bradley Jr. ended the match to end the inning. Number of steps of Cole: 25.

top: David Price 's first pitch was a fastball on the outside at 91.2 mph. Two shots later, Houston striker George Springer came out.
