Alec Baldwin is in custody after being arrested for assault, police said. The incident took place in the sixth district of New York.

CBS New York reports that Baldwin was arrested around 1 pm after having an altercation over a parking spot on East 10th Street in Greenwich Village.

The actor is famous for his temperament; in 2007, an angry mailbox Baldwin left for his daughter, Ireland, was leaked on the internet and became viral. In the message, he shouted at his daughter for not answering the planned call. He called her a "pig" and threatened to "straighten up [her] outside."

In 2011, he was launched a flight for refusing to turn off his phone. He said that he was playing Words with Friends. And in 2014, police arrested Baldwin after he was driving his bike in the wrong direction in the street and was acting bellicose towards the agents.

Police said the star of "30 Rock" reacted warily after being asked to show a piece of identity. He was summoned for riding a bicycle and driving disorderly.
