Alec Baldwin arrived in a New York court Monday morning to respond to charges of assault and harassment after being accused of beating a man in the head against a parking spot.

A few hours after his arrest, Baldwin went to the Twitter account of his family's foundation to deal with the incident.
"Normally I would not comment on something as distorted as today 's story," Baldwin tweeted hours after his arrest earlier this month.
