Alec Baldwin resumed the "Saturday Night Live" cold start, making his first triumphal appearance of the season as the show offered his views on President Donald Trump's meeting with Kanye West (played by Chris Redd) at within the oval office.
And there was something so … familiar about West to Baldwin's Trump.
While the rapper talks about the superpowers, the myth of the weather, an invisible plane and goes to the meeting with the power of his MAGA hat, Trump begins to question him in a voice off: "This guy could be a cuckoo. He does not stop. He only listens to himself. Who does he remind me of?
This is when West declares himself a "stable genius" with a "big brain" and the "best words".
"Oh my God, he's black," said Trump.
NFL legend Jim Brown, played by Kenan Thompson, is shocked by the shell. She wonders if anyone can be "tri-polar". And he wants to say to Redd's West: "Superman did not wear a hat, fool."
Trump and the singer finally share love with a hug.
"I love you, Kanye," Trump told West. "We have a lot more in common than people know: we are both geniuses, we are both married to beautiful women and we have both been clearly recorded by saying the word."
