Baltimore Ravens starting guard Alex Lewis suffered a terrible injury in the team game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Lewis came down and was immediately surrounded by the medical staff.
He sat for a while and was finally tied to a sign, his head and neck immobilized. He was then taken off the field on the wagon to an ambulance.
The Ravens said that Lewis had been injured in the neck, that he was moving all his extremities and that he was being taken to Vanderbilt Hospital for further examination:

Lewis seemed to raise his hand to signal to his teammates that he was fired, Jeff Zrebeiec of L & # 39; athletics.
Lewis underwent a CT scan at the hospital and was released. He will travel with the team to Baltimore and will pass additional tests on Monday, the team announced.
Lewis, 26, was a fourth round pick of the Ravens in 2016 and missed a considerable time in his career due to ankle and shoulder injuries. He is the left guard for Baltimore.
