Alfonso Ribeiro said he never had an appointment with Jada Pinkett Smith, thus refuting the actress' assertion this week on her Facebook Watch talk show "Red Table Talk".

The star of "Bad Moms" invited her husband Will Smith to be his guest during the Monday episode, where they had a candid conversation about the challenges of their nearly 21-year-old wedding. Jada surprised viewers by mentioning that before meeting Will, she was out with her co-starred "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and longtime buddy, Ribeiro.

"In fact, I think I went out with Alfonso," recalls Jada, 47. "I think we went on a date together."

Will, 50, already seemed to know the story and replied, "And he took you on a motorcycle or something."

"My memory is … I've been to a lot of people, but we went to an appointment," explained Jada.

Ribeiro, who played Will's wealthy cousin, Carlton in "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" from 1990 to 1996, went on Twitter Monday, to clarify things.

"Sorry Jada, your memory is a little behind, we went to lunch with your family when we both played on" A different world "the year before you became a regular," tweeted Ribeiro.

Jada took it quickly. "It's my fault, Alf … I thought it was an appointment," she replied adding a laughing emoji and a tiny heart.

During their conversation "Red Table Talk", Will is remembered to have been attracted to Jada when he first saw her in an episode of "A Different World".

"When I saw you on" Different World ", it was that thing and I do not know what it is, the bell rings, and I knew that there was some magical thing in our energy, "he explained.

The two men finally met in person when Jada attended the filming of Will and Ribeiro's show.

"The first time I met, it was at" Fresh Prince ", when I came to audition," recalls Jada. "I think I was 19 and they said I was too small, but you were there."

At that time, Will was married to his first wife, Sheree Zampino, and both had a son, Trey, now 25 years old.

Will and Zampino separate in 1995, leaving him free to pursue a love affair with Jada. But both said they had not cheated behind Zambino's back.

"We did not have any liaison while he was married," Jada said. "Let's be clear about this."
