LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A Lake County teenager was chased from a tree by an aggressive alligator who eventually had to be shot dead by a deputy, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
A deputy was called to a house on Forest Service Road 18 in Astor on Friday after the teenager's mother called 911 saying that her 15-year-old daughter was "trapped in a tree by a big gator, "according to a report. .
The mother of the girl frantically calls 911.
