Amanda Knox announced her engagement with her long-time boyfriend, and the proposal was really amazing!
Knox, 31, who was convicted of murdering her roommate Meredith Kercher in 2007 while she was a student in Italy and acquitted a few years later, first shared a brief excerpt of the show on Instagram. .
"It was just your average Sunday night, when all of a sudden …" Knox wrote before directing subscribers to the full video on YouTube.
In the video, Knox laughs nervously as his boyfriend, Christopher Robinson, leads her outside their home to a glowing rock. She discovers a tablet detailing the story of their relationship. Music of "E.T. The Extra Terrestrial "plays as Knox explores the" meteorite "that apparently crashed into the yard.
"I do not have a ring but I have a big rock," says Robinson in the video. "Will you stay with me until the last star of the last galaxy goes out and even after that, Amanda Marie Knox, do you want to marry me?"
Knox agrees and at the end of the video, Robinson writes in the credits that the proposal was prepared a year ago. He notes that Knox does not wear rings, which apparently explains the "meteorite" instead of a diamond. The two have been together for almost four years.
Seattle-born Knox served a 26-year sentence at Capanne Prison, near Perugia, Italy, for the murder of Kercher before her conviction was overturned in 2015. She has since written a memoir titled "Waiting to be Heard "(waiting to be heard). and hosts a series on Facebook Watch, "The Scarlet Letter Reports," in which she speaks with other women who have been publicly ashamed of shame.
Last month, Knox scored seven years after his release from prison. "Thank you very much to everyone who has remembered and celebrated the 7 years since I came out of prison with me!" she tweeted. "I am so grateful for your kindness!"
