Amanda Stanton was arrested in Las Vegas and charged with domestic violence, confirms PEOPLE.
the Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise The alum was in Las Vegas, Nevada, during the weekend for a friend's bachelorette party when the alleged incident occurred. At approximately 3:15 pm on Monday, police responded to a call for battery-related domestic violence at a hotel in the 3100 block of S. Las Vegas Boulevard, according to the Las Vegas Metro Police Service.
According to the authorities, a physical altercation took place in a hotel room where it is alleged that the reality star beat her boyfriend, Bobby Jacobs.
The security of the hotel was notified, the police were called and during the investigation, it was found that there were likely reasons to arrest Stanton on a charge of domestic violence, police said.
Stanton, 28, was then transported to the Clark County Detention Center, where she was being held.
She was reportedly released on Monday, according to TMZ, who first reported the news.
The outlet also reported that Stanton and his friends would have been partying at The Encore during a celebration in the company of colleagues, when security went into the room following a noise complaint.
Jacobs was talking to the security guard when Stanton, who was allegedly intoxicated, tried to intervene and pushed Jacobs, according to TMZ.
People are in Stanton for a comment.
The mother of two – she is the mother of young girls Kinsley and Charlie – participated for the first time in season 20 of Ben Higgins. The single person before appearing on Bachelor in Paradise during the summer of 2016, when she got engaged to Josh Murray. People confirmed in January 2017 that the two had called to resign.
Stanton is dating Jacobs, a professional volleyball player since the spring, according to E! New.
Tuesday afternoon, Stanton shared a photo on his Instagram story with a man, who appears to be Jacobs, aboard a plane.
At the end of August, Stanton posted a nice photo on Instagram, herself, her daughters and Jacobs, in Park City, Utah.
"Better view and even better business," she wrote under the title.
