Amazon announced today a new Fire TV Recast. This is a box that can broadcast broadcasts from an antenna to your device via Fire TV. All you have to do is place the box in your house and start broadcasting on your Echo Show, Spot, Fire TV or mobile.

An application feature will help you determine where to place your antenna for the most powerful signal. Fire TV Recast can be integrated into the channel guide, so you can watch with Prime Video and even PlayStation Vue. You can also watch local news and channel shows like ABC, The CW and NBC.

The redesign can also broadcast live TV on your Echo Show as recordings. You can record up to two programs at once and broadcast on multiple devices. There is also an integrated voice control for you to delete, program or cancel recordings.

Fire TV Recast has two tuners and a 500GB DVR, and will cost $ 229.99. A four-tuner version and a 1 TB DVR will also be available on November 14, allowing you to record up to four shows at a time and cost $ 279.99. Preorders are available today and the box will be shipped before the holidays.
