IMDb, an Amazon subsidiary, is expected to announce this week a free, ad-supported video service for users of Amazon Fire TV, according to several people with knowledge in the field. The new service, which will look like The Roku Channel or parts of Hulu, will feature TV shows and movies. It will be available to all Fire TV users, not just for Amazon Prime Video users.
