Amazon announced today that it plans to market a new Ring Ring Up camera. There are two versions: wired and battery powered. The wired version includes an Ethernet port. It will be published in black and white and will work both indoors and outdoors. It will be available "later this year" for $ 179.99.
Ring has already sold a Stick Up camera; it's just an update. The previous model also worked both indoors and outdoors and could withstand temperatures between -5 degrees Fahrenheit and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. He also recorded a 720p video and allowed live broadcast via the Ring application. It is not clear if Amazon has updated any of the specifications.
This news follows Ring's acquisition of Ring at the beginning of the year for an estimated amount of more than $ 1 billion. In addition to the new hardware, Amazon also announced new built-in residential security features around Ring, including the ringing alarm. This will allow people who purchase a Z-Wave lock from Schlage, Yale, Kwikset or Danalock to lock and unlock their doors from the Ring application. People using Schlage Connect or Danalock locks can also disarm their ringer when they enter their lock code.
