AMBER Alert: 12-year-old abducted could travel to New York

HUDSON FALLS, NY – Police are investigating a kidnapping that took place at 3 pm Wednesday in Hudson Falls. Malaya Johnson is said to be in a red Ford Mustang that was reportedly occupied by two men and could travel to New York, the police said.

The car was last seen on Oak Street in Hudson Falls. The girl is about 12 years old and the police fear that she is in danger.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office has activated the AMBER alert from the state of New York.

Malaysia is a black woman with long brown hair and brown eyes. It is about 5 feet long and weighs about 115 pounds. Malaya was last seen with light red jeans and a white tank top, wearing a light-colored backpack with a design.

The vehicle was identified as a two-door Ford Mustang red sedan with an unknown license plate.

The child was taken away under circumstances that led the police to believe that she was in imminent danger of serious injury and / or death. Anyone with information about this kidnapping is asked to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at (866) N Y S-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or observation.
