Amy Schumer lets everyone know where she is in controversy kneeling on the NFL.
Less than a month after being arrested for protesting the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the actress expressed support for Colin Kaepernick, former quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, with a message posted on Instagram on Friday. .
Schumer said she would refuse offers to appear in the Super Bowl ads next year.
"Friday thought," read the legend on Schumer's post. "I wonder why more white players are not on their knees, once you witness the deep inequality and endless racism that people of color face in our country, not to mention police brutality and killings. Why do not you kneel beside your brothers? Otherwise, how are you not an accomplice?
She cited these reasons why she would not accept advertisement offers at one of the most watched sports events in the world.
"I have personally told my representatives that I will not be advertising for the Super Bowl this year," she wrote. "Hitting the NFL with advertisers is the only way to really hurt them."

Schumer also called the pop band Maroon 5 for the second time for agreeing to perform at the Super Bowl.
"I think it would be cool if [Maroon 5] removed from the Super Bowl as [Rihanna] done, she says.
