An air force training plane from a San Antonio military base crashed near a mall on the northeast side of the city on Tuesday afternoon, according to KSAT-TV.

The plane landed at Circle Dot Ranch and wounded no animals, said the San Antonio television channel.

KSAT-TV reported that the two people on the plane, from the San Antonio-Randolph Joint Base, had been evicted before the accident and had not been injured.

A witness told KSAT-TV that he heard an explosion and saw two men being evicted from the plane. She said that the plane had not caught fire and seemed to "go down easily".

KSAT said the plane that crashed is a Texan T-6 coach, which is a plane for student pilots and instructors, according to Military.com.
