An American Airlines flight to Hawaii turned into a hellish journey when a red layer overflowed the aircraft's toilet, forcing passengers to urinate in bags and bottles.
On August 31, things went wrong on Flight 663 between Phoenix (Arizona) and Kona (Hawaii). The outlet obtained a video showing a female passenger who desperately needed to use the restroom and spoke with a flight attendant, who acknowledged that the situation was "horrible" and suggested that she use a plastic bag.
"What do you mean, I have to pee in a bag?" The woman, later "too embarrassed" to reveal her identity, asks the head of the airline in the clip.

According to the Express, the plane sits without problems and the toilets have been repaired in Hawaii.
American Airlines officials confirmed to Fox News that despite the toilet problem in the heavens, which was two hours before the scheduled landing, the airport closest to the plane to land was the destination.

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience that caused the 187 passengers on flight 663. Our customer relations team will contact all passengers on this flight to apologize," confirmed a representative of the carrier. "At American, the toilets must work properly before departure. If an American flight is in flight and all toilets become inoperative, the flight will fly to the nearest airport for maintenance to correct the situation.
"Due to the location of the aircraft, the flight continued until its intended destination. The question was then corrected upon arrival at Kona and our flight returned to Phoenix as planned.
