An armed man in a shooting warehouse is now dead

What happened?

The Albuquerque Police Department confirmed that three people were shot dead in a warehouse Monday around 6 pm.

Where did it happen?

The shooting occurred in a warehouse located at 3205 Broadway Boulevard SE. Police said that there were 20 people inside the center when the shooting started.

Who is the shooter?

Officials identified the shooter as Waid Anthony Melton, 30. He was employed at the warehouse, his mobile is unknown.

Is the shooter in custody?

Early Tuesday morning, an inspector from the Albuquerque Police Department confirmed that the gunman had died at Placitas.

Who are the victims?

The victims have not been identified. Officials at the University of New Mexico hospital confirmed that three victims were in critical condition.
