Authorities in southern California on Wednesday arrested an armed man near the area where a father had been shot during the summer while he was camping with his two young daughters in Malibu National Park.
Sheriff Jim McDonnell said that investigators do not yet have sufficient information to involve the man in shooting at this point.

Anthony Rauda, 42, was arrested. Authorities said they managed to find him on Wednesday following the "cool footprints" left in a remote part of the Malibu Canyon desert.
The detectives noticed "a male adult dressed in black clothes who walked fast and looked like the suspect in the burglary".
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies, a helicopter, search and rescue teams and detectives led to the arrest of Anthony Rauda, 42 years old.
Rauda was armed with a rifle at the time, authorities said. He was arrested after "a few moments of tension". The rifle will undergo ballistic tests.
Rouda, who has a criminal history of burglary and weapons offenses, was in detention for violating parole, as investigators seeking to determine whether there were any other charges, declared the authorities.
Authorities appeared to step up their efforts in the robbery investigation after the video surveillance of one of the burglary scenes showed an armed suspect.
