A 24-year-old woman was shot in front of her mother in Brooklyn on Sunday night – and her ex-boyfriend was named a suspect, police said.

Sade Sanchez, 24, was injured five times in the shoulder, chest, stomach and neck around 22:30. in front of the house on Menahan Street, near St. Nicholas Avenue, in Bushwick, police said.

The rescuers took Sanchez to the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, but she could not be saved.

The cops identified his former boyfriend, Gabriel Rivera, 26, as a suspect. His motive was not immediately clear.

On his record, Rivera has already made four arrests since 2007, police said.

Its most recent outbreak occurred in Brooklyn in March this year for armed robbery, police said.

Rivera's case also includes an arrest in December 2015 for passage between train cars, an assault charge in June 2015 and a criminal mischief charge in May 2007, the police said.

New York police are asking anyone with information about the murder to call the Ministry's Crime Stoppers Helpline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
