GATESVILLE, Texas – Authorities respond to reports of a large explosion near a hospital in Gatesville, Texas, local officials said. Gatesville police said the department was facing a major emergency at the Coryell Memorial Healthcare System, reports CBS affiliate, KWTV.
A Coryell County Sheriff's Office dispatcher told CBS News that a "very big" explosion has occurred in an area adjacent to the hospital where construction had recently occurred. been done. Gatesville is about 75 miles north of Austin.
