An Indiana bus driver is arrested for allowing students to drive

An indiana bus driver was arrested Friday after being taken to the camera and reportedly let students drive a school bus.

Joandrea Dehaven McAtee, 27, reportedly allowed three students – an 11-year-old boy, a 13-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy – to drive the bus to Valparaiso, Indiana, Thursday after -midi after school, reported on Chicago Tribune. The other students who boarded the bus recorded the episode, reported ABC News.

McAtee was immediately fired by First Student, who operates the township buses, after reports of the incident were released.

"We are incredibly disappointed by the actions of our former driver," the company said in a statement to ABC News.
